mommy’s hijita princess. 1 year post. love your mommy.

As of April 3rd 2026 it has been a day shy of 393 days since my sweet girl had left. As of May 7th 2026 it’s been a whole year since. I miss her, my little girl, everyday and all the time. Every morning when I open my eyes. Every night before I go to sleep to do it all over again. Waking up each day to remember she is no longer here, not either heating up my tummy by being in her home or what it could’ve been her giving my chest warmth from cuddling up on her mommy,  never fails to haunt me.

I don’t think I will ever think that she was meant to no longer be here, that “things happen for a reason”, or whatever people feed you once you lose a child. it should’ve always been mommy n mija. It still is mommy and mija just unfortunately in a different way I don’t think I would’ve ever imagined.

I miss your warmth you would give me.
I remember how she would always hurt me and I would get so upset, I would cry all the time always in pain always puking, trying my hardest to not connect to her, when deep down I was just falling more in love with her and being her mommy.
everything I went through was for her.

I heard her heart beat once. It was irreplaceable. She is irreplaceable. My sweet little one. I wish a lot of the time I could be able to think of how it sounded and be able to put it in a memorial stuffie for hers. Build a bear type shi. she would love it and I would adore it.

For the longest I wish I could’ve went back to do right by her. but I know I can’t do better for her constantly thinking the worst or constantly over thinking it dragging my baggage around. All I will do for the rest of my life is for her. For me. For our family that was started but not near finished. For our family who builds everyday and misses you all the time.

I can’t wait for the day I am able to reunite with her. To see her physically. To love her physically… like she has always deserved.

VOL Ⅰ/Ⅲ : Eleven Occultism Practices

This three volume series will explore some practices, tools in the practice, and less used tools that aren’t as known. In this blog we are exploring eleven practices! To understand Occultism practices a little more we first need to explore the meaning, occultism refers to the study and pursuit of hidden knowledge, often aimed at achieving spiritual insight or personal power. Originating from the Latin word "occultus," meaning concealed, hidden, or "secret”, The concept has strong ties to esoteric, mystical, and supernatural practices. There are many forms of occult or esoteric practices such as palm reading/mediumship/tarot reading etc that use divination to gain hidden knowledge or insight. Occultists might develop ESP as part of their path, but occultism also involves non-perceptual practices like spellcasting or alchemy. The main reason I’m using the term occultism practices rather than Extrasensory Perception (ESP) is for the fact that occultism is a broad, umbrella term for hidden knowledge and supernatural practices (magic, alchemy, spirit communication, etc.). While Extrasensory Perception (ESP) refers specifically to psychic abilities like telepathy, clairvoyance, and precognition, which are components or manifestations often studied within or related to occult traditions, but can also be viewed scientifically through parapsychology. The big difference between the both is: Occultism is the field, ESP is a specific power within it. I want to do dive into an overview of the general field rather than just one area and the powers within it…

Semi-Permanent N’ Cosmetic Makeup 101

Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing, has an extensive ancient origins that spans thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians are often credited as the pioneers of this art, using natural pigments to adorn their faces with eyeliner and lip color. Along with many ancient cultures, including the Polynesians, Incas, and Greeks, used pigments for body and facial tattoos to signify social status, lineage, or for cultural and spiritual reasons. This wasn’t just about beauty; it was a statement of power, spirituality, and social status. Forward to the early 20th century, and we see the first modern attempts at permanent makeup. Early methods involved using manual tools or coil machines to implant pigment into the skin. The techniques were crude and raw compared to today’s standards, often involving basic tattooing methods that lacked the precision we now take for granted or don’t even consider when getting art on our bodies…

INK.V3 THE RED! red hair dye Brand+ Color Deep Dive

“The red filters through…”,

I have always been attracted to the color red, to red in clothes, red in movie posters, to red jewelry. I even had a red room for some point with red curtains! I love to mainly customize my character head to toe in a mix between red and black. Ultimately my favorite way to add red is through my curly hair!

INK.V1 THELOOK. the history of chola makeup

The roots of Chola makeup is deeply intertwined with the cultural and social experiences of Mexican American women (like mua, afrolatinx, afrolatinas wya! ) in the southwestern United States, particularly in Southern California. It emerged as a form of self-expression and resistance against societal norms and expectations, evolving from the pachuca style of the 1940s into the Chola aesthetic of the 60s and beyond.

Betty Boop… Is a Black Women?

“Boop Oop A Doop!” is the famous saying we all have heard! Betty Boop is a popular cartoon character introduced to the world by cartoonist Max Fleischer in 1930. Betty Boop is best known for her curvaceous figure, signature vocals, and unashamed sexuality. Betty Boop has gone on to be one of the most known iconic animated figures in the world. While there has been controversy around this lovable character throughout the years, one thing that is unfortunately not that well known about the big-eyed sex symbol and strong feminist was inspired by a real-life African American jazz singer and entertainer from Harlem named Esther Lee Jones. Her stage name was "Baby Esther", unfortunately, when her character became the first and most famous sex symbol in animation. Some say she was whitewashed, some say something equally as bad took place: being based off a white woman who earned her career by being inspired by black artists and pretending she created it, with being met in the middle by most having no idea where the original inspiration came from.

We LOVE BlackHorror : A Film Guide

Between being able to get scared, laugh at stupid sh!t, and being able to sit down and be able to get emotional and relate on a heavier note, Movies have always been a safe space. I have always gravitated towards movies with anything involving horror + physiological thinking, comedy, and anything with a prominent diverse/BLK cast (that is coming from a Mexican + ebony individual!).

i was between 11-13 years old and get out came out which Was when i discovered black horror at my bigger age. Jordan Peels films not just paved the way for black horror for me but also showed me i have a voice at a young age. it [black horror] created a safe environment for me to feel less alone, accommodated to, and like my interests are catered to on a wider scale then just music.
